FFL can't correct FSC card through DES system. They could document the FSC card for audit inspection, but they'd also need to do the FSC demo and have a copy of that for the records as well.

FFL is fully on the hook to getting resolved. The OP could tell the FFL to pound sand if they didn't care about that business relationship.

What OP should find out is if the dealer already cancelled the DROS preparing to redo the paperwork. If they did that...then technically the OP has a firearm that still belongs to the store which is a whole 'nother ball of wax to be dealing with.

This is lawyer territory. I'm not sure. What if the FFL reports to the AFT? Then it might be a problem you don't want to deal with. I think the better thing to do is bring the firearm back to the FFL and try to correct the issue. You don't want a visit from the AFT.

Bought a gun Picked it up a couple of days ago. Now I get a call the CCW card I used on the Dros was expired and now it needs to be reDrosed. Since I don't have a current one and yes another 10 days with it locked up at the store. Is this normal? Apparently, I am going to have to use a firearms safety certificate or a hunting licence. I am sure those are both expired as well.

Go to gun shop, pay for an FSC without purchase. Go to sporting goods shop, buy a hunting license. That takes care of the last part. Take those, plus any other conceivable documentation.

Make mental note to have your ducks in a row before your next purchase.

Sounds like a can of worms that should only be opened in the event the buyer was a crazy felon, and the FFL is willing to be put under a microscope.

Hes being asked to get the card and redros wait 10 more days too I believe.
