So felon with a stolen gun- again
      Threaten people -again
      Selling drugs - again
Multiple failure to appear at court

$1,000 bond to get out of jail

I can't tell where he will do time and if he is subject to fed rules and must do 80% or under 5 years or state prison where he will be a non violent offender and can be out in 18 months

All we need are sensible gun laws. Nobody needs an AR15 to hunt deer.

-so say politicians protected by AR15s.

So check this out. 9000 people voted for that judge in 2015 (16k total voter turnout), in a county with 50k people

Another article claims people have an issue with these kinds of judicial decisions https://www.wizmnews.com/2020/12/10/...crosse-county/

La Crosse County judges are often criticized by the public, and law enforcement, as being too lenient on lawbreakers, and too quick to release suspects from jail after an arrest.
So hopefully the people in that county really realize that elections have consequences, and that they turn out in much larger numbers to support a judge that will address those concerns

Rather than just outrage on social media, stick it to em at the ballot box

Because in context, 'gun laws work' means 'gun laws I voted for (or promised to introduce/vote for) got me elected/re-elected'.

Reduce crime? Improve public safety? Irrelevant!

Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!

Well OP, ask yourself how likely you are to buy/convert a FA or silencer without a tax stamp? When's the last time you heard of a FA used in ANY crime.

So, YES, SOME gun laws DO work. The problem is, they only work against LAW ABIDING people - not criminals.

Laws are about punishment. Being punished for insisting on specifically enumerated rights is tyrannical.

Correct, it has not to do with crime, criminals, or preventing such, only to control you, the law abiding. The actual criminals are part of the process of change.
