Need a cheap scope

I locked in on three aspects of the OP's original post.



He is looking for 300 scopes for a customer, and the scopes must be cheap.



I figured he was looking to fill an order, and not looking to fill a personal need.



I get it though, as calgunners, we all do our best to steer people away from choices that won't fulfill their needs.

These scopes are actually probably never going to be used to shoot a rifle of any calibre.

Nope. They are being used for a training exercise. But not necessarily for shooting. Some may be used while shooting but that's not their intentions.

Yeah, they need to be 30mm scopes. It's all about the training and my client does already have the rings.

He's already crying.

The old company I worked for shipped him 300 of the wrong scopes. The box said 30mm but they were 1".

They didn't check the product because they have been buying the same one for 3.5 years.

They have already shipped out 100 scopes that needs to come back for replacement. Plus they need to ship out 160 more next week.

The other company doesn't have the correct scope. If I can come up with a good replacement, I could steal the business from my old company.

That could equal 2100 scopes a year for me. [emoji41]

Side note - The tacticool one has lived for about 2 years on a dedicated 22lr AR, clear enough for plinking.

Look at a Simmons 3x9-40 with a 30mm tube. Should be right at or under $50.

Best bang for the buck.
