Didn't mean it personally or that you hadn't searched just making a smart *** CAVALIER comment for no reason
As has been said before that tool is at all the gunshows using the same line with no proof or even any proposed legislation.Someone really ought to put this idiot on the spotlight when he has a group of people around that he is lying to and ask him which law that is proposed or passed will make them illegal.

I should be so lucky. It would take 3 of those small vests at 100 dollars just to wrap my carcass

The guy is a snakeoil salesman and quite frankly his "body armor" is crap.

I've had the opportunity to look at his stuff a while back when he was at one of the Crossroads shows in OC. He had no idea what the content of the material was (Kevlar, Zylon, Spectra) and didn't even know if it was woven or if it was a laminate. Crappy construction and overall the damn things were way too bulky for the so-called protective rating he claimed for them.

I know some people are going to think I'm taking shots at the product or bashing needlessly, but I think a little info is warranted.

This guy is trying to sell a product that is intended to save peoples lives but instead is pushing crap by lying to folks.

I've said it once and I'll likely end up saying it again in the future.

If you're going to make the investment in a set of body armor, do NOT buy it from some unknown vendor at a "beef jerky and airsoft show" that comes around every few months.

Go to a KNOWN supplier who sells certified vests from a major manufacturer.

                They got bigger sizes.

My idea (which got me banned at Gunco) was to make a bullet proof windbreaker by sewing panels from the $100 used surplus vests into a wind breaker and wearing it instead of a vest under my clothes...

The thread got turned into a **** storm and ended up getting me banned, lol

But I still think it's a good idea.

I'd like to spend about $2000 and buy 20 of those vests. Make windbreakers, line briefcases and even put some behind the door panels of my car....

Ain't a new idea, it's been done for quite a while now. Surprised that people got hissy with you about it.

5.11 Tactical (in conjunction with First Choice Armor) offers their Tactical Vest with built-in Level IIIa protection and it can accommodate hard plates as well.

BulletProofMe has options for windbreakers, quilted vests and even customizing your stuff for you.

BulletProofLove has some of the better offerings I've seen, as they are pretty difficult to distinguish from normal outerwear.

This domain name is available, own it today. Affordable payment options. Fast and professional service.

There's also a fellow down in Columbia who has spent the last 12-13 years doing nothing but custom work with Kevlar (and other materials). If you truly want high-end stuff this is where you go.

If you tried to cobble together scrap panels into a windbreaker, it might end up being more trouble than it's worth in the long run.

Ok, I found one other thread under searching for body armor, and I read through like 14 pages =P

                    Good stuff!

I am going to look for that russian stuff with the titanium plates, some day...

I asked like 3 questions, and it was obvious the guy didn't know what he was talking about so I just walked off.

I asked about plate carriers, number of layers of kevlar in a specific vest, and what was being used by our troops in Iraq, and he didnt' know any of those.

Does anyone buy from him? How can he afford the double sized booth? I didn't see a single sale in the 2 hours I was in that room.
