CZ P01...best Red dot?
Collapse

I have tried a few red dots and their associated reticles in defensive/tactical classes + competition.
- Vortex's 3MOA
- Leupold's 2.5MOA
- Holosun's 32MOA circle + 2MOA dot
- Holosun's 8MOA circle
- Holosun's Vulcan ACSS
- Trijicon SRO at 5MOA
- Trijicon RMR at 3.5MOA
For carry/defense - I will go with what is simple, quick/efficient and reliable... Trijicon with at least a 3.5MOA dot-ONLY reticle... Personally I prefer a 5+ MOA - my competition pistol is the 5MOA SRO, home defense Glock 21SF with a 3.5MOA RMR and the carry Glock 26 is with the 6.5MOA RMR.

Basically identical to what I would have wrote. I tried all the listed optics and still have most of them, recently got a SRO to try and it's nice, but on my carry G26 I use a RMR still.I have tried a few red dots and their associated reticles in defensive/tactical classes + competition.
