Therefore how I would react if I encountered someone who was printing would be different because I would not immediately have probable cause to believe what they were doing was illegal.
This is everything that's wrong with anything other than Constitutional carry. A person doing nothing wrong other than having a bulge around his or her waistline has you (or any cop who feels this way) believing that gives you the authority, the moral imperative to harass them.

I have mixed feeling on this. I hate the concept of a permit and being required to get permission to exercise a right.

However, having taken several live fire CCW courses and being an instructor in some disciplines, I really don't want to be anywhere near some of those folks if they need to draw their firearm....

This is getting ridiculous. Constitutional carry is the only way our 2A right to bear arms can be restored. Freedom is dangerous. There will eventually be some fool who injures or kills himself or an innocent bystander. That is the price of freedom.

That said, Constitutional Carry is law of the land in 20 states. What is the issue here! It is tried and true in different regions of the country with different socioeconomic classes. There has been no epidemic in accidental shootings due to lack of tactitard training. This is no different from when Florida first began issuing ccw permits in the 90s. It is the same fear mongering, anti-freedom, money grabbing argument.

It's disappointing to see so many calgunners - especially active duty police officers - not support our right to carry without government permission.

For me to be disappointed to see cops not supporting Constitutional carry would imply that I believed they cared about I t their oath to support and defend the Constitution.

If the last five years of leftist riots have demonstrated nothing else, they should have showed everyone which side the police will fall on when given an order by their masters. Allowing conservatives to be assaulted, and ignoring rioters then cracking down on conservative protesters with enthusiasm.

Maybe Biden will create new jobs for them like his promised for the pipeline workers and oil workers.

Maybe these instructors can get jobs in the solar industry.

I'm going to open another can-O'-worms.

the only "common sense" gun laws, are NO gun laws. EVERYONE! Even felons should be allowed to own/carry.

No restrictions PERIOD, on who can acquire, carry, use, etc.

Why? Because most of these carry, use anyways. However, there should be extreme penalties for previously prohibited persons, using one, in a "bad shoot" scenario, or a crime. I mean EXTREME.
I also know lots of people who made mistakes early on in life, who now otherwise, would not repeat again! I know ex cons, who I'd rather trust with a gun, than others who never had been in any trouble.

No registrations, no forms for purchase, no restrictions on where you can carry, other than a federal courthouse, and currently incarcerated persons.

The only reason I advocate serial numbers on guns, is in case it's stolen, and it SHOULD be a crime to remove it.

TRUE 2A, would mean EVERYONE. Training or not.

I believe you SHOULD train, but not everyone needs it. I have a friend who is a CCW instructor, and I haven't talked to him in a while, so I don't know how he feels about this. He DID tell me that with my knowledge of the law, common sense, and my own, personal training regiment, that personally, other than actually acquiring the permit, he sees NO reason I should attend any "formal" training.

There is a high percentage of prior military in this country, that I see they don't need any training. They know how, and when to use a weapon.

IF you're prior military, and are confident with a gun, and applicable laws, volunteer to help at your local range, or take friends out shooting, and TEACH them!

I know I've trained a few new shooters, and they ALWAYS wanted to know how to use their weapons safely. People, especially those who want a firearm, aren't stupid for the most part.

20 states have instituted constitutional carry, and there's no "Blood flowing through the streets".

Let EVERYONE carry. THEN, the 2a, will be set free. JUST as it SHOULD be.
