long term out of state gun storage

I may be moving back to CA, will know more later. I have lot's of non-CA compliant guns.

Looks like gun storage in NV is a thing based on my internet search.

Think I will drop off offending items before crossing the border.

I tried to search here but it goes blank, no results.

Any recommendations for storing non CA legal guns in Las Vegas or somewhere?

    Thanks!

    Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

There is a place in Pahrump NV that will do storage. Contact ammo supply warehouse.

I'm in Texas; swing by my place and I'll buy them from you for $1 apiece. If you want them back later, I'll sell them to you for $20 apiece (if I haven't moved. Depends on what you sell me, I guess).

If it's rifles, you can probably buy grip wraps and muzzle devices or thread protectors for less than the cost of storage.

If handguns, if it's AR pistols or the like, disassemble and store separately as uppers and lowers. Other pistols, the only deal killer is threaded barrels, or guns with mags in front of triggers. If treaded barrels, buy a cheap non threaded barrel and make gun comply. Tec 9 is going to have to stay in a free state.

Same with shotguns, if box mag fed, grip wrap and maglock it.

Unless you're talking about NFA items, most stuff can be made compliant pretty cheaply.

Ah, so grip wraps are still OK to make featureless?

Banned by name still a thing?

Banned by name is still a thing, and grip wraps are also still a thing.

But never the two shall meet (and be a legal California rifle).

I'm closer than CoopsDad, and will buy them for $1.25 and sell them back at $15.00. Will save you about an hour on the drive too
