LOL The only thing I miss about living in Vallejo is shooting at Richmond. The wire thing is too much! I have been there before where the red toolbox they use to fix the wire gets more of a workout than the guns.

Do the ground squirrels still waltz around the backstop on the 25 yd. range while everyone is blasting away? I was always tempted!

My dad and I went through 766 .22LR, 200 12ga skeet loads in 3 1/2 hours at 5 Dogs in Bakersfield on Friday before we were pooped. After discovering .22 plinking this past year to save money, we really don't mind not shooting 9mm & .45 all the time like we used to.

Usually a brick of .22LR (rifle and pistol) and 100-200 centerfire handgun (9mm-.45).

            Shotgun days usually 100 12 g max, 200+ .22LR

Back in the handgun competition days I would shoot 300+ centerfire every weekend.

Last trip only 300 .22LR and some misc rifle centerfire.
            Depends on the day's activities.

Yes, always save enough ammo to fight your way home.

My last range trip was back in February when you could actually find ammo, and I only have a 9mm so I blew through 250-300 rounds and haven't been able to go shooting since

I'm in the 150 -200 range unless I'm working on a specific skill with limited range time available then I'm more likely to shoot about 100. I also shoot competitively twice a month and that's good for up to 150 each.

300-600. About half are .22s. Depends on how many firearms I'm taking and how many other folks I'm shooting with. That's about once a month since last summer, when many friends and acquaintances suddenly developed a serious interest in buying firearms.

                        Back in the day

Back when I could readily buy ammo at Wal Mart I would easily burn through 300 rounds of ammo.

Today I have to be careful, but I'm getting a Dillon 650 set up and if I can get primers, powder and bullets, I will be back in business. Have a few thousand rounds of brass already.

I will probably be shooting more 22 since it generally is more available.

Surprisingly 12 guage ammo is still available.

Depends really. Usually at least 200 but sometimes less.

                              45 session: 150 rounds
                              AR session: 100-150
Both in same trip: about 200 combined
