It's not about the website. Businesses closes early on the fly all the time due to many reasons, factors, unforeseen incidents. Maybe the staff wanted to go home early due to slow business or whatever. Some people show up at 1 minute before closing wanting to ppt or be served at sit-down restaurants.

If you don't like how the business is run, just don't go, give your money elsewhere. I have on few incidents to drop off clothes at my local cleaners (business hours 10am-5pm), I get there at 4pm, signage says we're closed. Next day I ask why, they said owner made the decision no other reason given. This happened few times, so a bit inconsistent and no reason given every time. So I give my business by going somewhere else.

Funny, I did same at a dry cleaners too and found a cheaper one with cute girls. Just don't go to APTS if you don't like it. The beauty of capitalism.

That point would be when they can afford to staff it properly and run it as a "For Profit" enterprise. Between Covid and the price of ammo I'm surprised there are many left Thought we would all be shooting in the desert by now...

I imagine the guys that the range called the boss and said that it was extremely slow and he said go ahead and close early. It is that kind of place. Sometimes they close if it is too wet or too windy. Always call if you suspect that something might impact range operations.

I loved the range when I lived in Valencia. I was a member from the day it opened. Great folks running the range and a great pair of owners, Tom and Dean. I hope it sticks around for years to come.

Did not pay, did not shoot, wasn't worth 1 hour.

That's the second time in the past 4 months that this has happened. Website says shortened hours, then the staff decides to cut another hour from it.
They've closed early for Easter twice in the last 4 months?!

True. I always call beforehand if some place is more than a 10 minute drive. This has saved me a lot of wasted time in the past year especially with hours being adjusted arbitrarily "because the covid".
