Not if you like jumbo shrimp.

Shrimp isn't size, it's a " "slender, edible marine crustacean". A jumbo shrimp isn't really on oxymoron anymore and a jumbo jet is (a jet usually being associated with a sleek and streamlined appearance. Small but fat isn't an oxymoron either nor is tall but thin.
How do you display something hidden? You have to unhide it and then it isn't hidden anymore. The purpose of hiding something is to insure it isn't displayed. Just saying.
Then we get to semi-automatic manually operated bolt action rifles...

Don't worry, it will never pass...How in the hell did that pass?

Hey all. My collection has grown to five long guns. I like looking at them mounted on a wall in a back room of the house, but lately I'm thinking they ought to be hidden. I don't have any children, but I do have guests occasionally, workers occasionally. They are nice guns and replacing them would be expensive. I'm looking for a way to keep them locked and concealed, but also ready to display, because like I said I like looking at them. I don't want to take them in and out of a safe.
I have seen hidden gun cabinets that look like flags mounted on a wall, but I'd need more than one of those, I think, and to me they look kind of obvious because they are pretty thick. Do y'all have any suggestions for keeping my guns on display but also easy to lock up and hide? Thanks for any advice!Comment

Do what you want, but personally I would rethink you wanting to display them so you can look at them. I don't want ANYBODY else knowing what I have, and how many. You never really know when they might be seen and by whom, and what their intentions or thoughts are.
Mine are mostly out of sight, out of mind, except for my go to daily firearms. I forget what they look like, and even forget how many I have sometimes. My response is always the same when family members ask how many guns I have now, "a couple." And those are family members I'm quite close with. Hell even my wife would be surprised at what I would pull out, and how many, if I ever showed them off.Comment
