    Hilarious Ammo Anecdote

This happened to me the other day. I wonder who else has experienced something similar lately:

Early AM getting ready for work. Jump online to see if any ammo is available (99% futile)

9mm new brass pops up. Expensive (like $32 a box) with 99+ available.

I add a full case of 20 boxes to my cart and then log in.

My cart now has only 14 boxes

I enter my CC info and submit.

    "Sold out" 0 boxes

All of the above transpired within a matter of 2-3 minutes.

What you need to do is, have your payment info saved and ready to go.

I heard there is plenty of ammo in Canada...

What you need is a black 1977 Trans Am, a 1974 Kenworth W900 and a mustache.

        A bot got it.

You'll see it on Gunbroker for $50.00/box tomorrow.

You forgot the shrill harpy in the Trans Am passenger seat and the Basset Hound in the truck passenger seat.

Google has my info, all I have to do is click on any of the boxes and it's pretty much filled in. The only thing I do is type in the 3 digits for my CC. I think I have had a G19 or DE escape me because I was wishy washy on the decision to buy.

              Been there, done that.

Having said that, I was able to get 1000 rounds of 7.62x39 ammo AND an AK online today...now I’m scared to leave my office and drive home because I’m sure that other shoe will drop hard!

Cheaper than nothing had a thousand rounds of 9mm for $1040.00 the other day in an email they sent me. I'm not sure if it included shipping. Doesn't matter.

The best network is your friends. One of mine came by last weekend with a milk crate full of brass he said he got at a yard sale for ten dollars. 300 30:06 brass in nice shape, 200 44mag brass, 200 9mm brass, and some odds and ends. ( 7.62, 223, 45 ) Pretty much all I need for the 06, .270. I might even buy a 25.06 now. I have the rest for 06 and .270 ( powder, primer, bullets ) but need to do some research for the 25:06. Life is good.

I had that same experience at Targets Sports. Put it into my cart, logged in to may account, went to check out and it was gone

I’m just impressed you found something in stock! I haven’t been close to any reloading components since late last year.

Was at LAX Ammo store over the weekend, they still have common calibers in stock. Just about 3X pre-COVID pricing to keep hoarders from getting out of control.
