yes it is that easy. a sear is a very simple hinge/lever. careful with that. "for research purposes only" as they say, and don't actually make one. go ahead and watch the video though it is enlightening.Comment

I’m not one to want to go into what others have covered as to how one can convert a semi auto into a full auto with parts and paperwork.
You need a few parts to make an AR15 into class 3 full auto.
If you had an older Colt- there is a metal block that needs to be machined away too.Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED
Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)
Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
