Off-roster guns aren't magical or anything. Guess what? A Gen 3 Glock is just as perfect as a Gen 5. Don't be dumb.
Not necessarily true. If we had free state prices, Gen3s would sit on the shelves after the Gen5s are gone.

But I agree, $100 to buy something off roster, rather just sell to a rando for some larger markup.

OP start saving your pennies, till the roster ceases to exist, off roster prices will be high.

And i'm talking like paying someone 100-200 for the effort. Obviously it would have to be someone you build trust with and are able to meet FTF at an FFL. I'm only asking because the prices that people are asking for the off roster guns just absolutely amazes me, like people charging 1k for a cheap $250 gun...

If this isn't a proper topic please let me know and i'll remove. But if not i'd like to hear people's thoughts on this.

Hopefully we get some more sane laws in the future. I mean, we live in the times where a whole state such as CA can openly thumb nose at federal law when it comes to illegal drugs and people actually believe pot is legal in CA, yet people go to jail for paperwork violation where neither is a prohibited person and it would be all well if they did exactly the same thing, but exchanged money differently and didn't talk about it.
This. If both people pass a BC, who cares? Stupid rules are stupid.

It might be sad. The laws might be dumb. But one can still go to jail for violating them.

It’s amazing how clueless people (the OP in this case) are regarding topics like this...

Illegal or not, OP is ridiculous. He expects someone to buy a gun and sell it to him for $200 profit when he can make $1000 profit selling it on the open market.

How is someone able to differentiate between someone who is buying for someone else, or maybe someone who buys the gun for himself and doesn't like it and want to sell it soon after, or someone who is flipping the gun for a profit??

Also thanks for sharing your knowledge with me fiddletown, i'm glad there are people willing to clarify confusion and share information with people to make them aware rather than call someone ridculous/doj/police/clueless/dumb as some people on here clearly don't care for someone asking a question out of unknowingness.. it's almost as if they'd rather me not know so they can continue to try to make themselves fell better about having information that someone else doesn't so they can continue to insult people online.

Don't know about an off roster sales broker, but I can introduce you to a Nigerian prince.

I'll do it, give me a list of the off roster guns you want to sell and I'll find you buyers for a $100. per gun.
