Counterfeit Glock Mags?

I just checked mine and the 10 rounders are Austrian and the standard have numbers with the straight 9. Both styles drop free...

I just purchased quite a few magazines for my Glock 17 from two different online vendors and they all came in the blister pack shown below. All have the same "9" that the OP's mag in question has. Mine drop freely and haven't had any issues with the ones I've opened and used so far.

When factory Glock mags are around $25 each and the Magpul ones that work great are $15, someone has to be using slave labor and free materials to make some that they can sell even cheaper. Oh wait...

They (Likely Chinese) will counterfeit anything! They have counterfeit Energizer button batteries CR2032 on Amazon that sell for like $5 for 10. They look like the originals until you find that they suck! And either die quickly or don't work. How could it be profitable to counterfeit something that literally sells for pennies?

Glock Mags do come in small bags. When I Exchange mags at the Glock factory the replacement mags they gave me were in a small bag. clear on one side and all white on the other

I think I recall seeing something similar. Have also seen similar with other mags, can't recall what brands. I was buying so many during freedom week they all came in different packaging, some plastic bags and some clearly for retail. Could be a difference in Retail vs OEM packaging.

I believe all these mags pictured are defective. There is only vertical line of witness holes. Pretty obvious you guys have been screwed.

I wouldn't be too cocky living in Georgia. You too may end up with a single row of witness holes before you know it... GA didn't do American gun owners any favors

some Glock mags were made to not drop free.

That was one of the pitches about the early Glock - so your mag wouldn't fall in the dirt or get damaged.
