Cajun Gun Works CZ 75 Pro-Package - Worth It?

    For those in the know:

    (A) is this worth the $$$?

    (B) while there, what else do you recommend to have done?

    * potentially sending in a CZ75 P-01 and a CZ75 SP-01*

    a) If you are a trigger snob - totally worth it . Best couple of things is you get rid of the crappy recurve trigger and the single action hammer cam. There is a new option to choose hammer type, I think the new ring hammer is pretty cool. Also worth sending to CGW so you don't have to re-assemble a decocker sear cage.

    b) Personally, I would have the EZD sights installed (old eyes). Bushing? Some people swear they shoot better with it :P.

On another note, I sent my SP-01 slide to CGW to mill and install a Vortex Venom. Turn around was about 10 days (pre-covid) and I haven't had a problem with it.

Absolutely worth it... And you can save $100 by installing it yourself. It is drop-in install. No fitting needed. Just follow provided instruction and use red loctite with adjustable sear. plenty of YouTube instructional videos.

Just got mine back from CGW. I had Copperhead and Pro packages done along with sights. I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet due to COVID but if I didn't think it was worth it, I wouldn't have sent it in and waited the 8 weeks. I say go for it.

It is absolutely worth it. I would add the 10x bushing too. I have done it to all my CZ SP01s and P01s and it makes a world of difference to me. The trigger improvement alone is nuts

I did it and got a stainless guide rod. I have to say, it is a nice trigger. Really, the original wasn't that bad. I'm glad I did it.

I have one and it totally transcends any words. Worth it.

I just put the Pro Package in my son's SP-01. Very much changes the nature of the trigger, including moving it backwards and shortening the DA trigger pull significantly.

We also put on a fiber-optic sight set (CGW SKU EZD940), as well as thin aluminum grips.

                      He absolutely loves the result.

I like my Cajun-ized SP-01 a lot. I also had Dawson Precision sights installed. I only have a couple thousand rounds or so through it after the tuneup, though.

                            I don't think it is.

If you can diy install then ok but shipping both ways plus the wait time forget it. If your gun needs that much work $$$ to get it to work better then get a different gun.

I owned many of cz pistols and all but one had a terrible triggers. I did a few myself which were ok but was disappointed with them for needing so much trigger work. I sold them and ended up being more satisfied with Sig.

A gun shouldn't need that much work.
