Yes.. if the FFL accepts incoming ammo. They will charge you a fee for processing the "PPT" of ammo. The FFL and the state dont care what if anything you paid for it.

You cannot ship ammo through the US mail. You must use UPS or FedEx and you must follow their guidelines.

My FFL will do it for free. Most won’t. Prices will vary.

There were a couple of them down here that USED to do them for free, not anymore. And, because there's no rules as to what dealers can charge for the service prices are all over the place.

If you had a C&R and COE your friend could send the ammo right to your house. You could also order ammo directly from vendors that want to honor the C&R & COE exemption.
