    "Trades?"

    "Trades?"

It is amazing how many PM's I get that just say "Trades?"

If you are wanting to do trades with someone I would recommend you LIST what you are wanting to TRADE.

I do not know if you want to trade a Sig p320, loaf of bread or a kitchen sink.
Instead of going back and forth with PM's if you want to trade with someone just TELL them what you want to trade.

Or just list “No Trades” in ad.

I saw your FS ad didn’t say that nor listed what you wanted to trade. Perhaps that’s why you’re getting those messages?

You are missing the point. I am not opposed to trades it is just if you are offering to trade let ME KNOW what you are wanting to trade.

Doesn't always work. I've listed things for sale and have said the ONLY trades I would consider would be for other handguns.

I've been offered Frontline passes, a Harley - with cash on my end?, a trailer and few other items. Though I did also get offered a few handguns that I had no interest in but it was interesting to see what people were willing to trade.

I was once offered an HK VP70 for a .357 revolver I was selling. I'm not a big HK fan to began with, but the VP70 has got to be my least favorites of their designs.
        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

trades is the means to not listing a price; a price is required in the market place unless you just WTT.
          1. Compared to what?
          2. At what cost?
          3. What hard evidence do you have?

I would even add that they not only list their trade, but how much they are going to add in cash.

I prefer to sell/buy separately from a trade. Usually quicker to find buyer or seller that way.

Hard to trade if there not telling you what they want to trade. Happens more than people think.
