I would say buy what you can, especially on the list of items that may be hard to get in the future. Possession is 9/10s of the law. It is easier for politicians to cut supply than take possessions, like they have done in CA.

Buy Buy Buy Buy Buy Buy, dont overpay or get hit for more than 25% over msrp, do alotof searching, have cash handy, and know what to target...

If you need cheap things every store in CA still has springfield XDs in stock for less than 600 bucks.

If you are buying for future stockpiling that i would go simply for lower receivers extra parts for what you already have, and ammo every chance you can.

Hell no, no point in selling unless you own 100 guns and have extra one offs.

Make the collection Modular, for example i keep 75% of my handgun arsenel glock, interchangable barrels, mags, etc. 9, 40 and 45, no fancy calibers.

Have at least 2 full AR15s, stack up as many extra lowers as you can, get a few extra uppers and barrels. try to get rifle ammo up to 1k, then 5k, 10k etc...

Dont go out and buy ten random guns of different makes, calibers, etc, or spend money on collectibles or relics that wont be banned anyways.....go for the on the fence stuff like off rosters, AR pistols etc..

Or buy gold and silver and build a nice slingshot to shoot your precious metal at rioters...

"Realistic Worst Case Scenario" would obviously be a total ban on all firearms for private citizens. This has been their goal for decades. They don't care about criminals and gang bangers having guns because they're not a threat to the government. They only care about disarming those who may choose to fight for their freedom.
The AW list will be expanded to include most, if not all, semi-auto rifles regardless of what they look like or how they function. I believe this will be followed by a semi-auto pistol ban. They will make the case that these pistols are too often used by criminals. Revolvers, lever actions and bolt actions will be okay for a while but they will eventually have to go.
They will start with a buy back program and then use the IRS, the DMV and the Social Security Administration to force gun owners to comply with the law. If they are not satisfied with those results they will make plans to physically confiscate the remaining guns.
Of course private security companies that protect politicians, celebrities and rich people will be allowed to have guns.

I’m only selling guns to reduce my credit card debt. If I’m ever in an environment where I need to get a new rifle (I don’t mean at the range) most likely I can pick up one off the ground. In reality. You are not going to be running around with a spare rifle or upper. So I will keep one rifle and drop the rest while the getting is good.
