    Realistic Worst Case Scenario

    What do you think it is, as far as firearms are concerned?

    A. Buy now while you can?

    B. Don’t buy, sell, because you’re going to lose them for a pittance?

    I’m asking because I have the opportunity to add a 4th AR15 right now but am starting to feel like that might be pissing into the wind.

      The irony of all this is the bad guys ... the gang members, crooks and sick people who do the harm ... probably could care less. Only the innocents will suffer.

        how much ammo do you have for each gun you own now?
        Do you have food reserves?
        Is your "house" in order?
        "ANOTHER" AR, what will it actually do for you?

          I'm good with what I have. For me and my family there are other priorities at this point.

            Dem's long term goal is to disarm America. Dem's are set to take perpetual control of America.

            That is all I know OP.

              Great question OP.

              1) Nothing that I have have bought or inherited (plenty of both) have ever been part of a plan of mine to sell for money based on a need for money. I've had great need for "money" already in my life and these still didn't get sold. They might go down with one of my boats but I don't need to sell them ever.

              That, I hope, will answer your pittance question as I view it. Its not about the money.

              b) I wrote out my list of guns late in the year 2020 and as I wrote it out I was able to pencil in what I want that I don't yet have. Now I do feel, after the the devil went down to Georgia, that I may have to "hurry" on some of those a bit.

              Fortunately there is no AR on that list. If you have 3 I wouldn't put one on your list either but I say that because in my opinion the CA bastardized guns aren't "AR" enough for my liking.

              When I read your post I felt like a "4th" AR was about flipping it in the future. If you have 3 sons and want to keep an AR for yourself and make sure they all have one - ok - that's different. If its about investment - the ship probably sailed already.
              1. Compared to what?
              2. At what cost?
              3. What hard evidence do you have?

                I sold my ARs in the first panic in 1999, saw all this coming.

                my list is broad and I have all i need. i spent 30 years concentrating on basics, stockpiling, learning to cast and reload. i tried to hone skills and acquire knowledge.

                asking questions now is like trying to get a life vest after the Titanic is sinking
                TURNING and turning in the widening gyre
                The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
                Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
                Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
                The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
                The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
                The best lack all conviction, while the worst
                Are full of passionate intensity.

                        This is what I see as realistic worst case scenario. Just substitute firearms for alcohol.

                          I would say buy what you can, especially on the list of items that may be hard to get in the future. Possession is 9/10s of the law. It is easier for politicians to cut supply than take possessions, like they have done in CA.

                          Good points on ammo, was bad last year, but this year may even be worse.

                            They can't afford to let ordinary soccer moms to get so pissed off that even she locks and loads. They need to get rid of our guns asap.

                              Anybody thinking about self-limiting the number of firearms they own is doing exactly what Dems want you to do. Its really sad, Dems haven't even passed any gun laws yet, we know they will, but just the fact they are saying they will is causing people to think about voluntarily disarming themselves.

                              Bottom line is, the MORE firearms there are in circulation, the more difficult it will be to implement draconian gun laws and confiscate guns.

                              As with most things, strength in numbers.
