I get that, I have the Idaho Enhanced permit myself. But for those states that are slow to switch or will never switch to Constitutional Carry, and they require training and an actual permit to allow non-res carry via reciprocity that is an issue for me if states start dropping the permit system all together.
Let's just get rid of the entire permit system. The 2A is there for a reasonComment

I am sure that even going constitutional carry, Utah would maintain its permit system much the same way Arizona has...and for the same reasons. My only concern with these types of state-by-state changes is that many state's reciprocity laws require minimum training or reciprocity in return but if there is no permit requirement, that may not be possible.
Hopefully that made sense. As long as non-res permits are still given out and permits are optionally available then it should be okay but it's something to think about"Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue." ----Sen. Barry Goldwater

Yep.
Already an established system and gives the state additional revenue and its permit holders recognition out of state.Comment
