    FMK 9C1 Fast Action Trigger

I have a FMK 9C1 Gen2 9mm handgun. Made in California if you can believe that. It is a cheap little G19 clone but seems to work well. Anyway, the 49 state model has a different trigger assembly than the California one does. No doubt to comply with the law. However there is no law that says you cannot install the FAst Action Trigger according to FMK.

Any thoughts on the legality of this here in Ca? Would this be hard for a person with a more basic knowledge of gun repair ( I am still learning about these things) ?

Of course it’s legal - no different from swapping out Glock triggers (the evil roster doesn’t follow guns after initial dealer purchase).
So the roster version is a DAO trigger - is it ‘double-strike’ capable?
Is the ‘fast-action’ trigger the Glock type where the slide has to reset the trigger?
Personally the DAO seems more interesting.

The trigger kit also allows the mag to drop free. That is the appeal for me.

I have heard good things about the FAT. Seems to be well worth the money.

          Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

I heard good things too. I want to get it but unsure of my skill to install it correctly. A bit trickier than working on my ARs.

It wasn't hard to do when I did my friend's. But then, I'm gun tinkerer.

It's not especially hard to do if you pay close attention to the video - assuming youtube still allows it to be available.

Yes, the original trigger allows double strikes.
There are some people that it's just not worth engaging.

It's a muzzle BRAKE, not a muzzle break. Or is your muzzle tired?

I've seen the video. It's just so blurry. If it was a little more in focus that would help.

Too bad you are so far away. I'd help, although I've only done mine. Actually thinking of selling it. I'll likely convert it back prior to sale.

That's a very nice offer Thank you. It seems like a nice gun. It's never given me any grief. I like it cuz it's made in California.
