So as I was purchasing a item off craigslist, the person that I bought it from happened to be a retired Leo with 30+ years on the force...
for some reason I must give off a very friendly vibe, he proceeded to tell me a good amount of his inventory, and show me his inventory, and gave me a early "dibs" option should I want any of his cases and cases of various ammo or firearms.(I told him he should keep them as he told me he doesn't reload)
He asked me if I am looking to purchase any firearms, and I told him maybe revolvers.
Without going too much into detail, he told me he had 2 sw revolvers and few colts he can part with between 3 to 6 inches. Both no dash? on the sw. As we were talking about possible price, he assumes current good revolvers new costs about $450... i told him possibly next time for now.
The sw revolvers are:
SW model 19 and SW 681.
Are these collectable? Good revolvers? Possible fair ppt pricing?
Sorry for story, I figured it was good to share.
