Mendocino sheriff is notoriously corrupt, honestly once you pass Ukiah the sheriffs are more like a local cartel gang than law enforcement, there are some good members on the force but also many who rely on stealing money, drugs and guns from people in traffic stops.

Probably not a good idea here.

What remedy would you be asking a Small Claims Court to provide? Please be mindful of the limitations on the types of relief that a small claims court is authorized to provide (refer to CCP 116.220)

The LEGR ain't gonna do no good. It only permits the LE agency to release the firearm. It does not mandate the release of the firearm. The OP is wasting his money on the LELR until the agency is ready to release the weapon.

Please keep in mind that weapon, as pictured, and unless modified to have a fixed magazine, is an Assault Weapon, and a felony to possess unless registered. (But if it has a fixed magazine, then what is the need for a fin grip?)

If you build a man a fire, you'll keep him warm for the evening. If you set a man on fire, you'll keep him warm for the rest of his life.

fin wasn't good enough because people still shoot guns “with their thumb sticking up.”
As opposed to with their pinkie extended? Where is the thumb going to go if it can't wrap around?

65 is the maximum speed limit for perfect weather and road conditions. So you can get pulled over for doing 65 in a 65 zone if its dumping rain

told to exit my vehicle and join the officer by his cruiser while three additional units and one K-9 unit pulled up, told (not asked) that the K-9 was going to perform a sniff test around my vehicle. While the K-9 sniffed, the officer and I chatted. He asked me about the TTI Glock I was carrying and if there was anything in the car “they should know about,” because this was my “last opportunity to tell him,” to which I responded “other than the 12 guns and my entire wardrobe (I had moved out of my apartment after the semester was over, this was also communicated), no, nothing.” This was the truth. The handler thought otherwise though and claimed his dog “detected” something. I was put into the back of the officer’s squad car I was chatting with while the 6 officers proceeded to search my entire vehicle. After 15 minutes he returned, said they didn’t find anything, that he’d let me off with a warning for the speeding and to drive safe. I said thanks and have a good morning, holstered back up and drove off.
Yeah, the dog "signaled". What's the signal? He wagged his tail.

Oh right, the speeding: I was doing 67 in a 65.
Do that in AZ during one of their "zero tolerance" periods and you get a ticket. Out of state plates mean you go to the courthouse on the spot to pay the fine.

                            How would this apply?

We should throw our guns into the harbor because we don't like CA laws limiting possession and certain configurations?

Or we are supposed to intercept gun shipments from out of CA and throw them into the harbor?

Or throw ammo overboard because of excessive pricing?

Not sure what you are getting at.

its shady cops like this that makes it so the general public hate all of them.

they keep being corrupt enough, especially in the boonies, one day they will get ambushed and killed on the side of the road by people fed up with it.
