LAX Range is nice, but not my fave place to shoot.
    Agree with both above.

I will be going to Insight rather than LAX.

Insights supported a gun buy back in Artesia. Also has some lame rules. LAX makes you shove your guns through a glory hole and the help paws them over before you are allowed to shoot. No thanks to both.

More and more I prefer to shoot outdoors by myself on BLM land.

I don't like the idea of the help at Insight or LAX gawking and putting their grubby hands all over my Boomsticks before I get to shoot at their range. I don't mind them looking them over, but keep your mitts off the goods!

        1. Treat all guns as if loaded (even when you know they aren't).
        2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
        3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
        4. Know your target and what is beyond it (avoid all collateral damage).

So....Calguns group buy? I have a hard time figuring out what new venture would want to deal with the clean up of Sharps.

Make it a non profit private range?

I'd bet serious money this will never happen. And today was the official last day. Sad that had to happen.

I always liked Fred and the SS range, went there several times a week when I lived in Torrance. Certainly fun times.

Now I no longer know an indoor range that will allow steel cased ammo. I put up with this ranges shortcomings for that and also allowing aluminum cases and steel jacketed and JHP bullets.
