There will be a dump just from the calendar year PPT limit which gets reset Jan 1. Expect to see some nice stuff, though perhaps not cheap.

As for the new folks dumping guns, I can't get excited about G3 Glocks or nanny-state Shields etc.

With sleepy Joe having the most aggressive anti gun platform ever, don't count on it. Plus he's got Harris who is an experienced anti gun politician pulling strings also. So I expect demand and prices to remain high on guns and ammo for at least the next couple years.

Remember the sandy hook panic lasted for than a couple years. Obama wasn't nearly as outspoken about his anti gun agenda. Biden and Harris are quite vocal about it.

So really, the people who are going to make out on these- are gun store employees who make first contact with the seller.

Would these "newbies" place an ad on CalGuns? Sadly, I think most of the clueless would simply take them back to a gunshop and sell them at a huge loss.

Most new gun owners probably spent $800 or less....many much less, $350-500...especially outside of California. How much can someone really lose by selling it almost unused...50, 100, 200? No big deal.

If it’s one or two new guns in a household, I doubt they’re gonna rush to sell ‘em off....everybody’s seen the social problems we have. People want protection.
