Has anyone else noticed this about recent ppt ammo sales?

When I first got into guns only a few years ago and joined up on Calguns, all of the experienced members advised me to stack deep while it was cheap and could be delivered to your door

Just looked at the stuff on Gunbroker.

5.56 is around $1/round for S&B or Privi Partizan, amazing.

I can find it at reasonable prices locally, sporadically.

I've had a gun for years; but I got into guns this year- unrelated to covid/riots. I got into it understanding its not cheap, also I've come to learn that BassPro sell ammo at reasonable prices (compared to what ive seen). I just call ahead and ask what they have or coming in and buy 1k rounds at a time...
I cant wait to buy ammo at a lower price point and have a meaningful personal stash, but i ain't gonna ***** about the prices now. Besides, business is good for me so it just goes from one hand to the other.

I had trouble selling Federal at 70 cents a round on gb, I think because I can't take credit cards.

yep, a lot of Tula, aluminum, and steel case stuff more than usual. I'd be dumping all of my weird rounds, but 500 isn't worth anyone's time.

I mean, yeah if someone is willing to pay someone the current "market rate" for previously cheap ammo... why wouldn't you sell it.

I would gladly sell most of my factory ammo for a profit if it wasn't for CAs BS laws...

Hearing a lot of boo hooing, sandy hook should have taught everyone in recent years to stock up on even 22lr. I remember cci minimags going for 100$ During that time

Turk is reputed to be the hottest of 8mm. Having shot some I'd definitely agree.
