Anyone train with a gaiter, baclava, scarf, etc. and does it affect electronic ears/fog eyes?

Any recommendations? Amazon has a crap ton of chinese junk.
We did a 4DDHG in Dec 2012. It was cold! (I lived in Alaska and know cold...)
The problem we had was our fingers getting numb so we bought the shooting gloves that they had at the "pro shop". We had "bonus" dollars on our account so there was no out of pocket money.

As a side note... we were on the line when one of the Frontsight people announced Sandy Hook ...

i want to say something helpful, but i'm getting stuck on what californians consider "chilly".

if the path of least resistance for your breath goes out through your mask rather than up towards your eye-pro you'll be fine, especially if the humidity is low. people ski at temps much lower than you'll experience.

          Anything below 74f

Thanks for all the input. I am leaning towards a neck gaiter made from wool or silk. I did realize I wanted a hat , thus the gaiter vs the balaclava.

I used this type of cover working wild land/grass fires du jour. Easy to wear all day and made in the USA. Machine washable. Easy enough to breathe through while working or other big cardio activities. Keeps face warm and protected.
Has good clearance for ears or radio headset in spite of the picture shown.

Mine's ancient and I use it as my passport to get into restrictive COVID-19 nanny stores.
