Pistol course in the cold- need face covering ideas

I am headed to Frontsight in December for a Defensive Pistol course and I am assuming there is going to be some mask regulations and it may be a bit chilly in the mornings. I have done several courses there but usually in warmer months.

Anyone train with a gaiter, baclava, scarf, etc. and does it affect electronic ears/fog eyes?

Any recommendations? Amazon has a crap ton of chinese junk.

What I used December of 2018

My shooting glasses has an extended nose-piece, hence, mitigating fogging, though...

Some of us have had face coverings the whole time. What was once a nuisance in the summer is now cold protection. Been using neck gaiters, just have to modify your eye protection cause it might fog up.

I haven't tried it but they said use dish soapy water on eye pro, let it dry and it acts like fogx.

Someone said to cut a section of a swiffer pad and tape it to the inside of the mask at the bridge of the nose. Makes sense, as it would diffuse the exhaled air or force it to find an alternate exhaust route. I have not tried this (but may have to when it gets colder.)

Taping the mask across the nose works as well (if you can stand having the mask taped to your face.)

I saw the swiffer section article too but I would rather test out the soap thing in the early morning first. That swiffer will probably come off after some sweat.

Seriously, I found a balaclava does not interfere with the ear protection seal. It does tend to fog up a bit when it is worn over the nose and mouth. When my relay is up, I pull the balaclava down so it sits under my chin.

Made a trip to Big 5 while in Parumph last December and picked up a balaclava to keep my head and face warm. Once ithe day warms a bit roll it down to a neck gaiter or remove when needed.

Now part of my FS kit.

                    Here is something similar:

Silk is excellent as a balaclava. Not only is it very thin so it's impact on ear protection is minimal, but it's excellent at insulating from the cold.

Was at a local outside gun range last week. Talk about fogging your glasses. My Covid mask fogged my glasses so bad I could not use my iron sights, adjust my front sight when sighting in an AR or see target hits at 25-50 yards. Add in grey sky and it was a total pain.
