Nice thing about their mounts is you can screw on a .30 can onto a .223 mount. All my rifle cans will use the same mount. I don't want to put a key-mo mount on a Rattler and not be able to use the can on any of my other guns.
It is pretty much use a specific company’s mount system and adapt all of your cans to that system.

You have to decide on a mount system to be used on your guns. Dead Air’s KeyMount system is only one of the few that are available. You can use DA’s KeyMo/KeyMicro, YHM QD, Griffin’s Plan A, Q’s Plan B, etc. The beauty of the silencer world is that lately they have all moved to a universal 1 3/8”-24 “Omega thread pattern” that you can use one company’s QD system on another’s can. There are even people who can convert legacy mount systems to this thread pattern. So if you’ve decided on YHM’s QD, you can sell your KeyMo adapter off your Sandman K and someone would scoop it up.

You can use a 30 cal can on a .223. Just not the other way

I believe you can put YHM's QD adapter on many of Dead Air's cans.

Hah! Where can you find 300 Blackout for $1/round these days?

YHM is a slick setup I have a Resonator and Resonator K along with a Turbo and Turbo K.
                However...
I put a Nomad on my .300 Blackout Rattler It had a bit of blowback but it is pretty quiet. YHM makes an adapter that will allow me to put it on a YHM mount so I'll try it on my 10" barrel Aero someday soon.
The Resonator is a great can, really effective on a 10" barrel but a 5 inch barrel? I wonder if any can is going to be effective. That said I just picked up my Sandman K so I will give that a try on the Rattler.

                  I should have specified subsonic.
And I don't use Russian ammo anyway.

I don't really care about the warranty that much, unless the can flat out explodes. I'm not going to shoot the thing enough to wear a can out.

I'm probably just blowing smoke anyway. No YHM cans to be had, and I look all over just about every day. I AM able to get a Dead Air, but i can't bring myself to buy one when it costs twice as much as a YHM. By the time manufacturers catch up with demand they'll be banned anyway. Hell, they might ban all existing ones, which means buying any more cans is just lighting money on fire.

You'll want a warranty in case of baffle strikes, adapter cross threading, etc.

These are in stock as of time of this post, but be quick:

                        YHM Resonator R2:
YHM’s .30 caliber sound suppressor, the Resonator® R2, was created to provide the shooting enthusiast a quiet, lightweight and cost effective suppressor. The notched rim and tri-port muzzle on the end cap make it stand out among the crowd. Capable of being used on multiple calibers and host weapons, the Resonator® R2 can be used [...]

                        YHM R9 and Turbo T2:

Yes, I have a bad feeling all trunalimunumaprzure will be banned January 20th. I wish I can get one more, a TBAC Ultra 9 Gen2, but that hope may be fading away.

Wow, thanks. I was hoping to find a Resonator K, but even they don't have any or know when they will. I might have to get the full sized. No matter what, a centerfire is still going to be loud so I'm just looking for "close to hearing safe" and use foamies. The K models are much lighter as well.

The TBAC Gen 2's probably won't hit any shelves for awhile, maybe after January, from what I've heard. My local guy has a Gen 1 Ultra 9CB, which is the qd model I guess. His price is $1030. Let me know if you want his email.

Thanks. That is a decent price. Gen1 is available here and there, but I'm holding out for Gen2. 121 dB on a 6.5 CM is unreal! I have the Ultra 7 DT, I guess if this whole thing slams shut on us, I can live with 132 dB.

That's pretty funny, considering I signed up for in-stock notification, and didn't get one. OTOH when I got notified a month ago, there was no stock when I went to look.
