Thats true thats what we would do @ Sacramento Black Rifle. However M. sage should not have called me out like that. NOT COOL I have lots of experience with lowers its what a deal with every day. My first phone call in the morning is to them and I will make them aware of this issue.

That was the strange part about all of this. I bought a couple the same time as my buddy and all of his were fine. Bought some more a couple weeks later and had problems with them too. No real pattern.

just chase the threads with a sheetrock screw tip and use some assembly grease

i never care where the thread starts since i use a2 buttstocks anyways

"Doubtful of the story" thank you 4 your 2 cents but they are junk lowers. It looked more like paint to me than anodized metal. But it did come off with a brass brush so "doubtful of the story" I have nothing to gain from telling stories. I don't sell lowers nor did I buy one, I just was asked to come to the build party. This was just a warning,... nothing else. So with you being a moderator, before calling me a story teller you should think twice about what you write. But then again some people have more power than brains.

To the OP, lesson learned for you....Anodizing is way too hard to knock off with a brush, BUT Thank You for the heads up on what you saw and how you guys overcame the problem.

To the Mod for calling BS without any cause... Grow up.
