Recommendation for laser bore sighter

I am looking for a laser bore sighter (multiple-calibers) and something that won’t cost an arm and leg, but something that will last.
Recommendations?

I have used this for 5 years and it gets me on paper. Its clunky, but it does the job.

It's paid for itself a million times over. I use it at night set and level my firearm in a rifle rest in my patio and point laser @ my property line block wall maybe 10 yards away. Scopes red dots .22 or I even used it with my saiga12. Always gets me on paper and I'm zeroed in a few rounds @ the range. I swap optics around a lot. Only down side is the batteries don't last long.

I’ve got a couple of the super cheap kind that fit in the chamber and run off teeny watch batteries. The batteries don’t last long but it got me pretty close. Since zeroing a new gun isn’t a common thing for me I am fine to cry a few times and go cheap on this.

Buy what you want, but here is how to get by without a laser bore sighter:

Simply shoot at a large close target to see where your sights are pointing. A two foot square carboard at 25 yards, with an aiming point in the middle works every time. Make some coarse adjustments to get you within an inch or two of point of aim, then move the target back to 50 yards; or move directly to 100 yards for fine adjustments. If you are planning to shoot at 200 and 300 yards too, check the point of impact there too. Drop tables are shortcuts that, like laser pointers work in theory...

I can easily hit a two foot square carboard box at 25 yards, pointing a rifle as if it is a shotgun. After figuring where to hold, I can shoot 5" groups that way. Obviously you should use your rifle's sights, but my point is that at short range, they can't be that far off - unless someone cranked them to the extremes of their adjustment.

If this is too crude for your liking, start by bore sighting. Sure, that is not always possible.

By the way, you will be surprised how far off laser sighters are. This is due to barrel harmonics under recoil; and poor alignment of the laser in the cheaper, more compact products.

This is true for me, and also that I incessantly acquire and possess hundreds, if not thousands of items in tools and supplies. I reserved top shelf for the most often used items.

I get some guys buy once and cry once. If I did that even just for my main interest, two channel audio, I wouldnt have money for anything else

I have had rifles that just didnt cooperate, which is why I bought a cheapo laser sighter.

Otherwise, the old school way works 95% of the time.

With the exception of a click or 2 at the range, these put me on bullseye every time. As I only have 5.56 & .308 rifles, they DON'T break the bank.

Remove bolt, look through bore, look through scope, adjust scope, repeat until close. The Sightmark lasers are also a nice verification, especially for firearms where looking down the bore is difficult or impossible.
