Have you sold a car lately? Same drill.

Yes, I took down my low dollar ads because of this, damn time wasters....

WTF does “I’m interested” mean anyway? Either you want it or you don’t!

I’m thinking about resisting them, with a NRA member only caveat

              Good point.

                Agree ^^^
Maybe I’m being paranoid, but I always have them meet me at a USPS close to my house with a large parking lot. I did the same thing for auto parts that I sold on CL.

You think buyers are bad here, try Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace!
Offer up is pretty bad too. I was selling a radar detector on there a while back and had probably 25 people hit me up for it, about 6 say they were going to come get it. I had 4 people outright flake, one tried to scam me with paypal, and finally the last guy came and picked it up. Such a pain in the ***

Imagine being upset that someone said you asking above MSRP is too much for a used gun.

I’ve been shooting a while but just joined here about 9 months ago and the topics have changed drastically. Once a week people are posting about off roster prices. Complaining that the Gen 5 Glock 19 they just figured out how to own costs more than $500.

offer up is absolutely horrible. I used to use a house as an office for my production company. Over the years we acquired lots of film equipment and furniture. We also ended up with design within reach credenza that retails for $3500. Long story. Anyway, I got a new office and had to ditch the house. We tried getting rid of everything on offer up. So many flakes. I put that credenza up for $500. And it's like 2 years old! So many ppl said they were coming and then no showed. It was madness. Eventually I gave it to my friend. Dammit she's gonna try to give it back to me someday.

                                Sounds like a tire kicker.
A real motivator buyer won't fidget with the price all that much.
