Yup, I'm done wasting time on new members with less than 100 posts. I'd rather not sell than deal with them honestly. I had one guy with 5 posts and 0 iTrader who wanted to buy a 3k pistol but had a problem putting down a $100 deposit before wasting my time driving all over for an FFL.

With all the low ballers on this forum. No wonder people ask more than retail.
Then they want you to drive a couple hundred miles.
Ive had people on here when you meet them say I'm $25.00 short. Is it ok.
I was think about selling a pistol but i don't know now.Comment

I’ve had nothing but good luck from people I’ve met here buying and selling. But over the past month I’ve received several messages from noobs that eventually flake. Unfortunately I also had a flake with over 100 on his iTrader. I guess it can go either way.
I’ve decided I won’t drive more than 30 min to meet a new member without a deposit. Sucks that it has to be that way, but my time is too valuable.Comment

Are their not people outside of the internet you could sell to? One of my trainers wanted to offload some of his gear and just asked a few of his students he teaches and bam, done deal. He sold what he didn’t want or need.Comment

I have had many positive experiences here and met a lot of very nice people.
Having said that, I avoid 0 feedback and low post people in the market place.Comment

To be fair, some sellers need to include better pics, fuller descriptions, preferred FFLs, and sales conditions. There are some lazy azz sellers out there
Including all that would reduce the amount of back-and-forth chatter and wasted time.

New member, low post count here. I've had 4-5 transactions on Calguns over the last few months. I always offer a deposit. Most sellers don't take it once I offer. I've never flaked on a deal either though.
You think buyers are bad here, try Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace!

Did he ask if it had the original paint?
