Well, the mags are in some box in a pile of boxes somewhere in my house.
Same width as my 30 rounders, just the rear protuberance won't clear the release catch.
Thought I would have to file that.
Not going to bother.
Still not sure what you mean by a single stack magazine is as these seemed to hold ten rounds in double stack formation. Brought the loaded magazines to the range and couldn't get them to fit in the Norinco AK.Comment

The single stack mag will only have one round at the feed lips.
Double stack will have two rounds with one round a little off set at feed lips.Comment

Your logic is flawed in numerous ways not because of your logic per se but because of lack of knowledge of the facts and law. For starters, most magazines are not stamped with a date of manufacture. Second, the date on the mag itself, if it has one, is of little consequence. Finally, you can repair magazines with new parts. The problem is "conversion kits" are unlawful to import/give/lend/etc. If you had a "conversion part" from before that law took effect a few years ago, you can simply use that part you already lawfully had to repair the magazine you have. This is my logic. When you bought the standard capacity magazine during freedom week it was stamped with the date and time when it was manufactured during or before freedom week making it legal to purchase. Sending it back for a replacement, there will be a new date and time when it was manufactured and it will be outside the time frame of freedom week making it illegal. Unless the manufacture can somehow fix/mold the same magazine back without replacing it. Can someone confirm my logic?Expert firearms attorney: https://www.rwslaw.com/team/adam-j-richards/

Replacing parts is not illegal. You can legally replace the mag body (if you can get your hands on one).

After more investigation it's the feed lips are bad. Get five rounds in the ten round mag. The they push in mag only to fly out the top of mag.Comment
