Might be hard to get 5.7 ammo at a retail store in Commiefornia. Probably have to get it shipped to an FFL here.
sigpicC'mon man, shouldn't we ban Democracks from Cal-Guns? Or at least send them to re-education camps.

Paul Harrell likes the Ruger 57 better than the FN. In his testing, it was more reliable.

My buddy is still waiting for it to be in stock at our LGS. I did spot and pick up one spent casing at OC Indoor though. Couldn't find any more but its a tiny thing. Crazy how small the casing is

Some rounds are armor piercing and the inherent instability of the bullet causes it to tumble through soft tissue, leaving a larger hole than you would expect.
It wasn't workplace violence. It was a terrorist attack.

I guess I should have added a bunch of these:

Those that recall the sequence of events might remember this:

We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying. ~ Solzhenitsyn

It's a nice centerfire 22Magnum. At least you can reload it.

Those neat pointy bullets... Look up the French Arcane bullet.

Pointy nonlead bullets in pistol caliber offend the weenies who wrote the anti-AP laws awhile back. Against the "law".

Actually, substantially more than a .22 Magnum.

The 5.7 provides the muzzle energy out of a 6 inch barrel that the .22 Magnum does out of a rifle length barrel.

Inevitably, Kel-Tec’s new .22 Magnum (WMR) chambered PMR-30 pistol will be compared to the FN Five-seveN pistol which fires the ballistically similar 5.7x28mm cartridge. If people are not saying it now, they will be soon saying that the .22 Magnum is the same as the 5.7x28mm.I used to say the same thing.

Is the 5.7×28 just a “glorified .22 Magnum” as some Internet Gun experts claim?

                        Kel-Tec PMR 4.3" barrel
                        Calibers: .22 Magnum (.22WMR)
                        Energy (40gr): 138ft-lbs 187J

                        FiveseveN Pistol 4.75 inch barrel
40gr EA Protector 2,092fps-389 ft LBS

                        For comparison

Buffalo Bore Heavy .38 Sp +P
                        Heavy .38 Special +P Ammo
                        158 gr. L.S.W.C.H.P. - G.C. - (1,000 fps/M.E. 351 ft.lbs.)

Note that the 5.7 has more muzzle energy than the Buffalo Bore .38 SP +P.
