There are plenty of parts available to build an AR from a stripped receiver. You just have to look around and buy what you want when it is available. Have a vendor notify you when they restock something you want and jump on it fast when it becomes available.

Lower kits aren't available? Suppose a guy had a couple sitting under a bench someplace. Would now be the time to sell? I didn't know they were scarce.
