Not bad for the FFL fee. I'm surprised at the $40 for shipping though. I guess they did UPS, instead of Priority Mail.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

LGS will know what to do, how to do it, and will NOT get YOU in trouble. May charge a transfer fee on your end, but hey - his time ain't free, either!

2nd day air, that is where the expense is. Priority Mail is a USPS service and handguns cannot be shipped through USPS.

True, the guy behind the counter spent a considerable amount of time looking up the proper forms, printing them out for me and studying them for me to make sure I understood exactly what to do to begin the process. Very nice guy, excellent customer service. I felt $25.00 was a bargain.

But $70 is pretty good, in my opinion. I expect $40-50 for the FFL fee, and $20ish for shipping. It all works out.
