FedEx delivery issues... (Resolved)

If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you there -
Showing 12am seems like a good thing. That sounds like the computer automatically marked it delivered. I know how nerve-racking waiting for a delivery can be especially on a firearm. I would guess that it will show up tomorrow at the ffl.
I recently had a box of low cost parts come FedEx and showed delivered on Saturday at 12am and the package arrived on Monday. I wasn't worried ONLY because it was low cost and easily rectified if truly lost. It all worked out on monday.Comment

Great advise, should also apply to lots of things going on today as people are way too impatient. Best thing a delivery company can do is to stop using tracking on every delivery, or at least hide it from customers. It just gives them another thing to stress over for no reason.Comment

FedEx won’t be voluntarily getting my business after this. They’re billing me $3000 on a shipment bound for the UK when the buyer already paid shipping. Their computer is down when I need it but not when they need to harass me for a charge I never authorized.
Hope you get your rifle. FedEx is a joke compared to UPS and DHL.

So it turned out to fortunately be the case where it arrived later! (Phew I was worried).. thanks for all the feedback and suggestions, next time I won't be so anxious about it. Then again, it was a pricey toy so it was worth some anxiety lolComment

Nonsense. I've watched many, many packages make their way to me and am familiar with where they should be when. By spotting an anomalie and placing a call- they often can get back on track.Great advise, should also apply to lots of things going on today as people are way too impatient. Some, like the latest Costco order shipped through UPS's secondary product (that takes stuff long distances to your local post office for "the last mile"), disappeared never to be seen again- I have the credit issued before the replacement even lands. Ordered on the 31st, its still not here or hit a single tracking point since it left.If you don't know where you are going, any road will take you thereComment

My shipment is in Bloomington right now!
Been waiting for something that was shipped/picked up on the 8th, disappeared for all this time into the Fedex abyss. When their tracking doesn't updated they have NO IDEA where it is until it shows up somewhere.
I always change my delivery to a Fedex location and have to walk in to get it. No monkey business that way. They can never say it was delivered or signed for.
Fedex by far the worst shipper. USPS always the best for me.
