This is a good point. I just checked a G35G4, there is no way the ejector could come forward with the trigger housing in the frame. There is a guard (albeit very thin) molded into the frame that would prevent it.

So OP you may want to inspect your frame for damage. Remove the trigger housing and post pics of the pocket in the frame where it goes.

Sheared off a rail. Looks like a trip to Smyrna is in order.

Thanks. Looks like the trigger housing is cracked.

My mistake, not the metal rail sheared, looks like the plastic guide rail in front of the metal rail on that left side. Still looks like frame damage and might be best to have Glock replace. They replaced a G20 frame for me a while back.

Yes after looking at it close up both plastic rails look a bit beat up. Damn. So I have to send this to Glock and assume DROS this thing again back to myself? Do I have to send through a FFL?

I would say contact Glock, looks possibly like a manufacturing defect that gave way

Dang that trigger housing is jacked up big time.

Personally I would dress up that plastic 'rail' 'not rail' damage with a file, put in a new trigger housing and get back to shooting. But that little tab guide just forward of the slide stop notch may need a closer look.

If Glock would replace it, still gonna cost you $100-$150 for DROS + transfer and depending on who pays shipping each way. Not a bad deal for a brand new frame but it depends on how old this one is.

How long have you had this gun, and are you the original owner?
