The 03 is your friend, but will still be hard to get .22....
I gotta go to the range with someone like you (in SoCal) and bum ammo! I'll pay for beer after.

One of the reasons my stack isnt shrinking is because I never go to the range

$.60 for one 9mm round. Keep buying, keep raising prices.
          Wow.

            Few questions.
Anyone know the price of 22lr(range ammo, federal) before Sandy? During? And After (6month+ after all sandy sensationalism died)?

Before covid, it was 4.5c per, during covid(now) (it is 6c to 10c per), After(?).

Was Sandy After price lower than Before Covid price?

The price of basic 22LR, like CCI Blazer, Federal American Eagle, Remington Golden Bullet, Winchester Super-X... had stayed around $20+tax for a brick of 500 for the longest time, since 2005 at least (when I first started buying 22 ammo).

It's funny, Federal, instead of raising the price per box above the $20/box psychological barrier, they kept the price at $20 per box, but only filled the boxes with 325 rounds "value pack" instead of 500 rounds.

              Ok thanks for the info.
So in 2005, it was 4c per. And in 2019 it was about 4-5c per. At most a 5-25% increase in ammo prices in 14 years despite numerous panic buys including 2x obama.

In respect to these stats, when the current panic buy is over, I am thinking the prices may come back down to precovid, at max 25% increase?

I learned my lesson in 2013. I'll never run out of ammo again. My son and grandson/s will be shooting some of the ammo I have.

Now @ $1.00 a round for 9mm they might have to use my reloads. I've got lots of factory 9mm, 45acp, 5.56 and lots of 22LR..not as much as Lynn tho.

I might be able to get that Standard Manufacturing SAA I've been wanting
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

$1 a round: provided Anqueefers aren't playing "bullet trap" with them sooner.

I have a friend who bought 10k rounds for 9mm and 556 and won't go shooting with me anymore. When he did he didn't shoot much.

My fast rig can be changed for 9mm or 223 and run 400pcs per hour. Medium rig has turrets set for 357, 45, 308, ak at 100 per hour. Big rig for 308, 6.5cm and .338LM. Big calibers is where you make your money back yes. .338 LM for a $1 per round or there abouts with non optimized components.

Just continuously buying components in bulk when I see them at normal prices. I am testing out some small rifle and small pistol magnum primers for 9mm though. Nobody has any small pistol primers.

Interesting twist this time around, 'distancing' in factories and on productions lines.

Glad to see those $.60 CPR not selling in the marketplace. Demand slowing perhaps?
Or nobody willing to pay 300% markups?

Once all the 1st time gun buyers have their 1 box, their insecurities were satiated. Unfortunately there are a lot of scared preppers that will keep buying as long as the price is low enough until and perhaps after Nov.
