Homeland safe. The price for the 7 or 4 gauge body can't be beat from what ive researched lately but if i had a little more money I would check out vaultpro USA quarter inch thick body. Both made here in the socal.

Dont put all your eggs in one basket. Keep the 24 rifle safe and buy another real good safe and have two full safes...diversifies your risk...
The amount of hardened steel in the safe has a direct impact on how secure it is. Do not get anything less than a 1/4" plate body and a 1/2" plate door. I got a 48 gun cannon from Costco with and electronic and combo manual lock as well as extra reinforcing bars for around 1800. It was a safe outfit in Corona that they contracted with. I think regularly it was $2400. It wasn’t one of the cheaper made cannons but the top of the lineComment

I have a liberty 1776 (50) model. I've been pretty happy with it. Comes standard with a keypad lock but I had them change it out with a mechanical, personal preference. Right around your price range. I think it was about $2200.

Liberties are nice, with most being 12gauge then the premium being 11 gauge and their flagship 7 gauge I believe. With their prices rapidly rising depending on the level of fire protection. Compare specs (gauge thickness/fire protection) and make the best choice with budget possible.

In your price range I would say Liberty is a good choice. Depending on where you are in SoCal there is a Calguns vendor that is listed in the ad banner at the top of the page that has a decent showroom. I'd check them out. West Coast Safes. They were very nice when I was in there.sigpic
