Trap with an 18.5 in barrel. That must have been fun

Buy a Benelli M2 and put an extended magazine on it. I have one I use as a duck gun. I thought about converting it

They aren't doing it to spite you. We live in a free-market society and the LGS is charging what people will pay. Eventually, the price will be too high and no one will be able to buy that shotgun and they will lower the price. Be patient, you obviously have other guns.

            1. Treat all guns as if loaded (even when you know they aren't).
            2. Never point the muzzle at anything you aren't willing to destroy.
            3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target.
            4. Know your target and what is beyond it (avoid all collateral damage).

                OP

Trying to buy a 12ga anything is kinda tough right now.... Heck, its kinda tough trying to find/buy 12ga ammo.!

Plus cut your locals FFL's a little slack. Most if not all of them right now, are getting their butts kick. They're are in survival mode. Imagine your local grocery store. How long could they stay in business if they had nothing to sell? Nothing they could order?

I don't know how old you are or how long you've been in the firearm community. As an gun owner / shooter, I've been involved in the firearm community for over 50 years. What we are seeing / living right now in the firearm community is unprecedented. Sure, there's been runs on firearms / ammo in prior years but nothing, I repeat nothing, like this has ever happened before. Period.

Will it ever get better? I don't know. I hope it does, but I wouldn't take that bet.

                Benelli M4...you have excellent taste.

                May I make a suggestion? Take a look at a Beretta 1301 Comp 21" barrel, 5+1.

Excellent shotgun.....made BTW by the parent company of Benelli :-)

                Good Luck with your search.

In many cases it is not that a store is not willing to order a particular gun but that they are just not available. The distributors are out and have raised their prices. For example, Glocks almost don't exist in California now except on the resale market, and if you find a shop that will take an order ::cough Turners cough:: they don't mention that it could be months until your gun comes in.

Sorry but expecting to pay even MSRP, let alone below MSRP, is close to delusional at this point.

Let me guess; you want the JANUARY price, and they're all charging the JULY price.

Try the marketplace. And count yourself a lucky NOOB, if you can find an (SINGULAR) M4 - at ANY price - and some buckshot, to fill it up!

                    Welcome to July.

$2026 is the lowest on Gunbroker. $1799.99 is MSRP.
You can backorder at sticksandstonesarms.com in Murrieta for $1755.

3 weeks for an appointment? Drive a little or pay more.... I was at a Truner's over the weekend at West Covina... wasn't that bad...

I've had pretty good luck ordering a few guns with OC Outdoors/Firearms but this was pre-COVID days. Not sure how they are now.

                        Good luck, OP.

Try gun ranges with gun stores inside. I think on-target was taking online orders, and it is walk-ins no appt.

Fair though, not sure. They don't allow people to use safe affidavit so expect to pay like 57 for your dros.

                              Holy crap!

How incredibly drunk would you have to be to crash into that store? I can barely even pull my truck into the driveway.

I have not been in touch in years but Ade was foundational in the OLL movement from the beginning. Back when shoeless enterprises was your only option or Evan Carolin RIP would weld up the mag well on a colt lower for $1k, Ade was transferring OLLs and even my M1919A1. Emely is an angle.

Ade is a humble mountain among men.
