Orange County Gun Stores that are fair?

It seems like all the gun stores I visit in OC are down right cocky. They won't quote a price, won't order, or charge huge markups.

I want to get my hands on a Benelli M4. I am not looking for the lowest price. Just a fair price. It should not be over MSRP. Looking for a store that is willing to take my deposit and order this shotgun. I understand it may be months to receive

Ammo Bros won't order. Turner's says I have to make an appointment to order and it's 3 weeks for an appointment. Riflegear won't order. Fowler's is charging $300 over MSRP and wants a 50% deposit and told me "if you back out we keep your deposit"

I just wish these guns stores remembered that I was decent to them when tsales were slow, and they may be slow again in the future.

You want one of the hottest guns right now but want it at the cheapest possible price ? Yeah ok.

People are paying $2500 on GB for used M4s.

Reread my post. I explicitly stated I am not looking for the cheapest price.

Your "fair" and reality are disconnected. Try again some other time.

The distributors have very few guns available (mine has zero Benelli M4's in stock so I couldn't sell you one at any price) what they have they are charging your local gun store a premium for then the store unfortunately needs to mark it up. It's a safe bet the manufacturer is doing the same thing to the distributors. Capitalism at its finest.
Master_Prestige is 100% right the bottom line is in these times, if you dont buy it someone else will.

Supply vs demand. Bad time to be a buyer now... Go shooting with what guns you already own and buy the shotgun later.

Good luck! I'm getting nervous ticks as well from the lack of product available at retail price. Use this situation to your advantage. Dust off your .22lr. Get into reloading. Buy Dillon. Buy more press than you think you'll need. Stockpile components after the fear subsides.

Your statement of only paying MSRP or less would be cheaper than any price on the market....

Fowler’s is only 300 above MSRP? They’re usually 500 or so. F’n crooks.

Diamond Dog, go to Turners in Orange. You will have to wait outside to get in( they are only doing appt. for dros and pick ups) but they will take a deposit at their last offered price. I was just there and did the exact thing on a different firearm.
