I get the sentiment, but just because someone is a gun owner, does not mean that they are pro 2A. Many people believe that they, themselves should own guns, but not many others. To be clear, I am all for helping new people exercise their God-given rights in a safe and effective manner. However, if they have a hint of pro-Democrat B.S. they can take a hike. It is my opinion that it shouldn't be too much to ask for people to live by the rules that they expect others to follow i.e. gun bans and the like.

Seeing the liberal unwashed mass of humanity at the range, gun counter, etc. (whom have limited my time now that we all wait for the spot...why don't the range owners limit visits to 45 min to keep all moving? Another rant for not knowing how to run a real business.) and listening in to their nonsense...

What do you mean "roster-off roster"
        What do you mean FSC
What do you mean 10 day wait
        What do you mean 1in30
What do you mean ammo background check
What do you mean a Republican does not have a tail and horns
Hope this doesn't take too long i have a protest to go to, businesses to destroy, police to antagonize and public property to tear down...

also while these people will want a firearm in times like these they are the same ones that will be anti when things get better. Many are still anti now but the need to feel safe overrides the anti for a short time. They will continue to vote anti, libtard, democrap.
Mind you not all will be like this but many/most will. They are just brain dead, waste of air sheep that will do as their handlers tell them.

I have even heard one say that if we got rid of all firearms then he would not need to get one and we would all be safer. The is the brain dead reasoning of some of them.

I teach classes and will help anyone who attends. I will also help almost anyone on this(or other sites) than wants help ---up to a point. Tell me anti crap and my help gets less and less

So, write a sticky and have Kes or a moderator put it at the top of this page...I know most fng's don't read a thing prior to posting, but at least this would give them a location to check, once quickly referred by a member.

If they're SERIOUS about firearms, they would've bought 'em before now.

If they're SERIOUS about firearms, they'll research, read, & study first, which will be reflected in the quality & seriousness of their questions.

It’s rare to get a new forum member that is pro 2nd who isn’t just becoming of gun buying age and it comes thru in their posts.

If you’re older and only now think guns are important for our freedoms, those are the ones we take issue with.

I know more than a few liberals who are anti 2nd but are gun owners. They comment against rights but still believe “they” should have a gun. Their obvious double standard is disgusting!

I get asked occasionally by some of the liberal men that I know, what gun should I get - I simply say no gun. “If you managed this far then you don’t need it.” I’ve even got the “but Trump is president I need a gun! No “You” don’t!

If they just buy a gun, and one box of ammo, then lock them all separate from each other it's nothing more than a security blanket from the monsters under the bed.

OP, I can agree with you to some degree. But far too many newbs and veteran members of Calguns are not even using the search function here or on Google. Calguns is indexed my Google, results would come up for Calgun forums. The net is not knew. They seem to be brain dead and want things handed to them. That is what I take issue with. I am of the belief that the average american, regardless of political affiliation is either dumb, stupid, ignorant, uneducated, any combination thereof and lazy.

The slow decline of America is at hand, no matter who is in power.

100% agree. Being a gun owner does not make you Pro-2A. I hate beating the word around, but Fudd's are exhibit A of this phenomenon.

I have a close friend of mine that to a T pretty much sum's up the Fudd mindset; he own's a revolver, a lever-action rifle, and a pump shotgun, enjoys skeet shooting, occasional plinking, and hunting, but views the majority of California's gun control laws as just right or need's to be pushed further.

He's stated to me numerous times that he would be 100% okay with the concept of banning private ownership of any semi-automatic firearm and larger than 10 round magazine, simply because he doesn't own any, never intends to own any, and views them as "unsporting", with typical arguments of "If you can't stop a home invader with a revolver or pump shotgun, maybe you should've gone to the range more instead of arguing why you 'need' a semi-automatic".

He's fine with registering every one of his guns to the DOJ, waiting 10 days between purchasing one to picking it up, and even want's the 1 in 30 days limit on gun purchases to apply to all gun transactions. Literally the only law he finally drew his line in the sand on was complaining about the new ammo background check law saying that it would be fine if all you had to do was show your FSC and you could walk out the door with it, but disagree's with its current implementation.

To me, that's not Pro-2A and it's not a type of gun owning mindset I have any desire to support, when for all intents and purposes he's willing to throw an entire group of gun owners under the bus simply because the laws don't inconvenience him enough.

I'm all for supporting introducing new people to the gun-owning community, but my enthusiasm and interest in actively assisting them goes down dramatically when it's been a case of "Well I support gun ownership, BUT I still support gun bans, magazine bans, mandated registration and waiting periods, etc." for the last couple of months.

This reminds of the current situation between the Yankee Marshall and Mr.Gunsngear. Jonny B posted a vid making this point, because someone owns a gun does not mean they are pro-2A
