Here's what a lot of people don't realize. The Marxists want to abolish the police, then replace them with their own enforcers. Their plans don't work without top down force and violence. We even saw it in their CHAZ/CHOP experiment. Although they hated police, they immediately established armed enforcers and violently enforced their norms and expectations.
