It warms my heart to know that all over the USA -- in closets, sheds & garages there are millions of rounds of ammo.
Here's my iTrader feedback: (iTrader score is 244. I have ZERO negative feedback) https://www.calguns.net/forum/market...user-l-a-saigaComment

IMG_20200704_141753682.jpgI've been to 2 gun shows in the last two weeks; a big one in Fort Worth and a smaller one in Gatesville. Neither had much in the way of 9mm, 5.56/.223, 7.62x51/.308 or .45 ACP. Any vendor who had some only had retail boxed ammo, 20 rounds of rifle ammo, 50 rounds of handgun ammo. No one had 9x19 or .45acp in 1,000's. I did find .300 Blackout for .40/round and .458 Socom for $1/round for 350 grain JSP.
.45 Long Colt was $30 per box. Pass.
.22 was plentiful and cheap. Got a few bricks.
Plus I picked up enough bits and pieces to put together another AR-15 in .300 Blackout for my son so I was thankful that I didn't drop a bunch of $$ on other calibers before I found the guy with .300 Blackout ammo. All I needed was a gas tube, barrel nut, handguard and buffer. It turned out very nice for a parts bin special. It's the one with the red paint around the mag well- both .300 BO have it, and I only use USGI mags painted red for them to help avoid dropping a mag full of .300 BO into an AR chambered in 5.56.Comment

No. Is that what you do?
Maybe because they overbought in a panic and now need money due to economy slowing down from "wave 2". ??..
After the last few panics cooled down I scored some pretty good deals. Many calgunners did.

well if they defund the cops then will not have to worry about the cops arresting you shooting a rioter burning down your store or attacking you. seems like that when they really go into actionThings are a little different this time around. Besides Covid-19, the race riots, far left fascists running wild and election uncertainty (with the potential for significant gun control), you have the combined defunding/underfunding of LE at a time when prisons and jails are being emptied nationwide, or at a minimum, recent offenders being released pending some fictitious future trial date. Old people remember the 1960s and 70s, with high violent crime, and have a better understanding why Regan signed the Mulford Act against open carry (queue up the NFAC militia at Stone Mountain).
Most people, and especially liberals, are finally realizing that they are almost on their own when it comes to public safety. Calls to LE over fairly trivial matters like property crimes and fireworks go unanswered, and they are starting to see emboldened criminals in their neighborhoods.
So, besides the usual panic buyers, we have a whole new group adding to the panic where price doesn't really matter.Comment
