I have friends I could get it shipped to, but I wonder if they will question my home address for charge card verification being different than the shipping address.

Why Johnny Ringo. You look like someone just...walked over your grave.

I highly doubt that, they want to sell you ammo, just dont want to break stupid L.A. city laws.

I have ammo shipped to my work address, although I do ask for permission first.

Never had a problem with shipping address and billing address being different. I like to have the items ship to my business address, because there is always someone to receive a shipment.

My city and the City of Los Angeles are two different cities, even though they fall under Los Angeles County. By the definition, no one from Agoura to just before the OC would be able to get ammo in the mail, and that isn't the case.

Some places don't distinguish and won't send anything into certain zip codes in order to protect their rears, but they are few and far between.

News Flash, your city and the city of Los Angeles are the same. Valley Village is a community in Los Angeles City and not its own city. you swear.

I don't think this is registering for you: my mailing address is Valley Village, not Los Angeles. Thus, unless you want to get bogged down in the semantics of what is a city, a community, a district, and so on and so forth, my city is not Los Angeles.

No, I dont think its registering for you. Its funny that you use the word semantics, cause thats exactly what you are doing.

If you want to tell an online retailer that you dont live in Los Angeles, and you can get ammo shipped to your house then good for you.

Yeah, i know you use Valley Village as your mailing address but so do people in Hollywood, It's still Los Angeles.

Just curious. Who is your Mayor there in Valley Village? (its Villaraigosa)When you call the police, does the Valley Village police department respond?

Yeah I know, Mayors, police departments, those are just semantics.

When the LAPD patrols your neighborhood, thats a clue.

Just who do you think the people in Valley Village pay their taxes to? Thats right the city of LOS ANGELES.

And in conclusion, the Los Angeles Municipal Code applies to you. That goes for ammo shipping as well.

One more thing for anyone reading this. If you live in areas called; Sherman Oaks, Encino, Northridge, Hollywood, North Hollywood, Valley Ridge, Van Nuys, Reseda, and even Watts, Brentwood or Bel Air, you live in the City of LOS ANGELES. Sorry audihenry you city IS Los Angeles.

After all this thread IS about Los Angeles ammo restrictions. Semantics....

He should be ok then because there is no codes that apply to ammunition shipping, especially since ammunition is a legal product. The laws in the city only apply to businesses that sell ammunition, but don't let FUD get in the way.

Well praise the lord! ammo is a legal product. I think we all know that. The City of Los Angeles thinks its a good idea to force businesses in the city to jump hoops in order to sell ammo to the public. Fingerprinting, keeping records etc.. Although it does appear that the municpal code is regulating businesses in L.A it hasnt stopped businesses elsewhere to stop shipping to L.A...

The only Fear Uncertainty and Doubt i am dealing with here is where audihenry thinks he lives.

I thought it was still legal as long as you weren't an ammo dealer in los angeles
