I like your style. Teach me, show me.

Also, how do I do the blue comment link boxes? That seems more practical than my method.

There's a lot of BLM land available for shooting if you're willing to invest the time in:

      Finding it

Driving 1 ~ 3 hrs each way depending on where you live

Dealing with traffic delays (weekend traffic on I-15 can be bad)

Learn to prepare/adjust for extreme temperatures and high winds.

I've been doing it for decades.

Without driving up to 29 Palms... Does anybody know anywhere I can go be alone and stretch my rifles out to at least 300 yds?

        Thanks for any ideas.
lots of BLM land Northeast of North County SD. just gotta find it like others have already said.
I have a spot in the mnts, about 1 hour from Poway, with steel plates at 100, 250 & 400 yards.

All that BLM land is now closed until the winter rains. Only Imperial County is open. Bring sun block, sandals, speedos and a wife beater shirt.

Anywhere's a place to shoot if you're brave enough.

At South Bay Rod & Gun you are required to wear a face mask anytime you are within 6 feet of someone. You are not required to wear the mask when you are shooting. But you must have a face mask. No face mask, no entry.
