Could be worse. Imagine a gun store gets robbed overnight and the robbers took the safe of jailed guns.

The trick is to have several guns in process at the moment. You'll keep a new gun pipeline. Promise you you'll actually forget about a lot of guns.

If it makes you feel any better OP.......I bought two guns on consignment from (gasp) Turner's. There's a 30 day hold on consignments once they're sold. After that you can DROS them. With the amount of traffic they are seeing, you need appointments to do anything. Now that DOJ is supposedly backed up they're taking extra long as well. Then when you get your approval, Turner's is calling you to schedule another appointment to pick up! My appointment to pick up is on Saturday....... when all is said and done, I'll have waited 52 days since my original full price purchase. Not to mention about 4 to 5 hours of time at Turner's for 3 visits.

I stopped by the shop to discuss an unrelated item, and several of the staff told me that my new Wilson Combat was the smoothest racking and the most consistent 1911 trigger that everyone in the shop ever felt. WTF? Why do they think they have the right to fondle my new gun while it is on their premises? I was so mad, I turned and walked out.
I hope you new treasure doesn't get violated during the transfer process.
I bet they took it out and put a few hundred rounds through it!!!
