    The wait....

I never was a super patient person. When I buy something, I usually take it home that day.... With the exception of guns.... Now add to that complication of an online order..... And 15 says after the order my gun shipped.

Now I find out that my FFL is out of town and while the package will get to him, I won't be able to go to him till after he comes back... And then I go out of town as he's coming back...

This sucks!!!!! Cause now it's probably 14 days of wait (based on what I see in the current posts) on top of it all I might take it home towards the end of July.... Ugh....

I just picked up today on the tenth day. A few days ago I picked up again on the 13th day. So it should be clearing up for buyers now. Sorry to hear about your bad timing with your FFL. Good Luck.

Just feel lucky to have it at all. Lots of people waited too long.

Just breathe... go find a slingshot to pass the time, maybe a BB pistol for indoor practice.

Just applied for a tax stamp for my new Ruger Silent/SR. 4 months to a year wait. Maybe I will get it by Christmas.

Yeah, the wait stinks. After the DROS, there's another 10 days wait.

You must not live in CA if that is the case.

My father (who lives in another state) sent me a Wilson Combat for my birthday. Yes, I have a wonderful father!!! I started the transfer process last week with a new shop. I stopped by the shop to discuss an unrelated item, and several of the staff told me that my new Wilson Combat was the smoothest racking and the most consistent 1911 trigger that everyone in the shop ever felt. WTF? Why do they think they have the right to fondle my new gun while it is on their premises? I was so mad, I turned and walked out.
I hope you new treasure doesn't get violated during the transfer process.

Yea, this sucks. I suspect a store took my M4 to the range during the 10-day wait. The cable lock I applied was cut and the BCG was filthy when I picked it up.

Long story short, go to a reputable shop that is well-managed.

I am so surprised at all of the bad experiences! I can't believe they would take the gun out and shoot it. Wow!

I guess that this shows that the movies of my childhood are true to life like the parking lot attendants taking the Ferrari out of the parking garage for a drive around town in Ferris Bueller's day off.

So many people buying 'em these days, the NICS check can take upwards of 5 - 6 minutes, instead of the usual TWO!

I HATE waiting 4 whole more minutes, before I take my gun home THAT day!!!
